AI Watermarking
Watermarking is a hidden marker that AI tools add to the images, audio, or text they generate, so a file can later be identified as machine-made. Unlike a detector that guesses from the writing, this mark is put there on purpose by the tool that made the file. It is still imperfect, because cropping, screenshotting, editing, or re-saving can strip it right off.
