Buzzwords Debunked

Blockchain

A blockchain is a shared record that many computers keep matching copies of, so no single owner can quietly rewrite past entries. It is genuinely useful in one narrow situation: parties who do not trust each other and have no neutral referee available. For nearly every small business, a normal database with good backups does the same job faster and cheaper.
