Cash Flow

Money moving into and out of a business during a stated period. The difference changes available cash, subject to the accounts and restrictions included. Cash flow differs from accrual profit: an unpaid invoice is not a receipt, and borrowed money can increase cash without becoming revenue from selling goods or services.
