Classifier
A model or decision procedure assigning inputs to defined categories, sometimes through scores followed by a threshold. Tasks may allow one category, multiple categories or an explicit abstention. Class labels and thresholds need specification; a confident-looking output does not guarantee correct routing or calibrated probabilities.
