Closed-Loop Control
Control in which measured output feeds back into decisions about the system input. The loop can respond to deviations and disturbances, but feedback is not automatically beneficial. Measurement errors, delay, inappropriate gain or incorrect response direction can make a closed-loop design perform worse than a simpler fixed policy.
