Cohort Analysis

Comparing groups that share a defined starting event or characteristic, often tracking what happens at the same elapsed age. Cohorts help distinguish newer customers from older ones instead of mixing their histories. Membership, return criteria and observation windows must be explicit; grouping data does not itself identify a cause.
