Critical Path
In an acyclic dependency schedule with specified durations, a longest-duration chain that constrains the earliest possible completion under the model. It is not necessarily the path with the most nodes. Resource conflicts, uncertain durations, and additional constraints can change the real schedule, and several paths can be equally critical.
