DALL-E
The name of an earlier OpenAI image-generation model family, often encountered in older tutorials about creating images from text. As reviewed on September 18, 2026, OpenAI’s API deprecation page records the shutdown of dall-e-2 and dall-e-3 on May 12, 2026. Do not treat an old DALL-E tutorial as a current integration recipe or use the name for every newer image model.
