Data Export
A data export is a complete copy of your own records taken out of a tool in a file you can open somewhere else. It is how you leave a vendor, keep your own backup, or feed a second system. Whether a tool offers a genuine full export, rather than a partial one, is worth checking before you commit your business to it.
