Deep Research
A multi-step AI research workflow that gathers and analyzes sources before producing a report. The name is used by several products, so available sources, controls and limits are implementation-specific. OpenAI’s documented deep-research API requires a configured source and a sufficiently complete brief; it does not automatically include the clarification step described for the ChatGPT experience.
