Edit and Resend

Edit and resend means going back to your own earlier message, changing it, and running it again, instead of typing a correction underneath. Most chat tools let you hover over what you wrote, edit it, and submit, which replaces the answer that came after it. You are fixing the request itself, not asking for another try at the same one.
