Entity Resolution
Entity resolution determines which records refer to the same real-world entity, despite differences in spelling, formatting or attributes. It produces candidate matches or record groupings under a matching policy. Similarity alone is not identity, and a mistaken merge can combine unrelated customers, permissions or transaction histories.
