Handwritten Text Recognition
Converting handwritten text in an image into machine-readable characters or words. Variations in letter shapes, spacing and connected strokes make the task different from simply recognizing a fixed printed font. Recognition produces a transcription to verify, not proof of authorship, intent or authorization.
