Histogram

A representation of a distribution using counts assigned to value ranges. Monitoring implementations may expose cumulative bucket counts or other encodings, so boundary and accumulation rules matter. Histograms can support aggregate latency analysis, but bucket resolution limits what can be inferred about individual observations and estimated quantiles.
