Memory Consolidation
Memory consolidation in agent engineering means reconciling incoming observations with stored information into a more usable representation. It can combine repeated facts, retain conflicting claims or replace outdated state under explicit rules. LangMem uses consolidation in this engineering sense; the borrowed cognitive term does not establish that software stores or learns information like a human brain.
