Minimum Viable Product
A minimum viable product, usually shortened to MVP, is the smallest version of an idea you can put in front of real paying customers to find out whether they actually want it. It does the one thing that matters and nothing else. The point is to learn from real buyers early, before you spend a year and your savings on the full version.
