Negative Instruction

A prompt instruction specifying something an answer or workflow must not do. It can clarify a boundary, especially when paired with permitted behavior for the same situation. It is not a software prohibition, and its effectiveness must be checked rather than assumed to be universally weaker or stronger than positive wording.
