Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku
Opus, Sonnet and Haiku are names used for Claude model families, not literal file sizes, subscription plans or permanent quality rankings. Releases have specific capabilities and operating tradeoffs that should be checked in current model documentation. These three familiar names are not a promise that the provider's complete model lineup always contains only three families.
