Permission Scope
A defined range of access a system grants or requests, often expressed as named OAuth scopes for particular operations. Available names and granularity are provider-specific. Requested scopes, granted scopes and resource-level authorization are different checks; a consent screen does not necessarily offer every combination or describe all consequences of access.
