Rate Limiting
Rate limiting restricts how much activity a client or service may perform under a defined counting policy. Limits can use different windows, buckets, identities and resource costs. HTTP 429 indicates too many requests; a response may include Retry-After, but neither the counting algorithm nor a universal retry delay follows from that status alone.
