Sentiment analysis is an AI reading a piece of writing and judging the feeling behind it, roughly positive, negative, or neutral. Run across hundreds of reviews or messages, it gives you a picture of mood you could never assemble by reading one at a time. It is a rough read rather than a precise one, and sarcasm still fools it.
