SLA
An SLA, short for service level agreement, is the written promise in a vendor's contract about how well a service will perform, usually covering uptime and how fast support will respond. It also spells out what you receive when they miss, which is almost always an account credit rather than real compensation. Free plans typically carry no SLA at all.
