Source Code

The human-editable instructions and declarations used to define software, such as program files, page markup and configuration. Some run through interpreters; others are transformed into delivery artifacts. Possessing source files alone does not supply missing dependencies, data, credentials, licenses or deployment instructions needed to reproduce a working service.
