Static Site
A static site is a website made of finished pages that are handed to visitors exactly as they were saved, with nothing being assembled at the moment someone visits. A dynamic site builds each page fresh, which is what you need for logins, shopping carts, and content that differs per person. Static sites load faster, cost less to host, and are much harder to break into because there is less machinery to attack.
