Tool Annotations
Structured hints about a tool behavior, such as whether it is described as read-only or destructive. MCP uses these to help clients interpret tools. They are descriptive metadata, not enforcement: an annotation cannot override authorization, establish trust in an unknown server or prove the implementation matches its description.
