Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication, often shortened to 2FA, means a password alone is not enough to open an account. You also prove you are holding something physical, usually your phone, by entering a code that changes every minute or tapping approve on a prompt. It is normally a single switch inside the account settings and takes a couple of minutes to turn on.
