Webhook
A webhook is an event notification delivered to a configured endpoint, commonly as an HTTP request. It can reduce repeated polling, but delivery may be delayed, retried or out of order. The receiver must follow the provider's verification and processing rules; receiving a message is not proof its business action completed.
