Workflow
A defined sequence or graph of work with conditions, inputs, outputs, and responsibility for moving between steps. An AI agent may perform some steps, but the workflow still needs explicit rules for approvals and failures. Durable workflow engines can persist progress; durability does not automatically make every external effect safe to repeat.
