Automation & Workflows

Background Agent

An agent that can continue a task without continuous foreground interaction. A person, schedule or event may start it. Background execution describes how work runs, not unlimited autonomy: the task may pause for approval, lose access or finish without successfully notifying its owner. Persistence and restart behavior depend on the application.
