Betweenness Centrality
Betweenness centrality measures how often a node lies on shortest paths between other nodes, allocating fractional credit when shortest paths tie. Its value depends on direction, weights, endpoint treatment and normalization. It describes a graph position, not an inherent measure of trust, business importance or responsibility.
