Degree Centrality
Degree centrality measures a node's immediate connectivity. For a simple undirected graph with more than one node, a common normalization divides degree by the number of other nodes. Directed, self-loop and multiple-edge models require explicit conventions; the resulting score is not a measure of relationship quality or permission.
