Observability & Reliability

Passing contextual information across execution boundaries so downstream operations can relate to upstream work. Tracing commonly injects context into a carrier and extracts it on receipt. Propagation must be intentionally supported at each boundary, and carrying context does not authenticate its contents or justify transmitting sensitive attributes.
