Edit Distance
A measure of how many allowed editing operations transform one sequence into another. The unit-cost Levenshtein version counts insertions, deletions and substitutions. Specify the sequence units and operation costs: changing those choices changes the distance, and a transposition is not a single allowed operation in this version.
