Kill Switch
A kill switch is a control designed to stop or disable specified system behavior quickly. Its coverage depends on where the control is checked and how updates reach running workers. Disabling future actions does not inherently cancel actions already in flight, reverse completed effects or repair the incident that prompted the stop.
