No-Show Rate
The share of a defined appointment population classified as no-shows. The numerator, denominator, time window and treatment of cancellations or reschedules must be stated. Different reports can use different populations, so a percentage is not comparable until those definitions match; an absent attendance record is not automatically a confirmed no-show.
