Replay

Intentionally processing previously retained events again, for example to rebuild a report or recover from faulty handling. A replay requires a defined source, selection boundary, target, and effect policy. It is not automatically a rollback, a retry of only failed work, or permission to repeat customer-facing actions.

Also called: Event replay
