Alerting
Alerting evaluates conditions and initiates a notification or response when the configured criteria are met. Rules may require a condition to persist before firing, and routing determines who is contacted. Detecting a condition, sending a notification, delivering it and receiving human acknowledgment are separate outcomes; none automatically proves the next.
