Derivative Control
A control contribution based on how quickly a signal changes, commonly an error or measured output. Practical implementations often filter this contribution because differencing can amplify measurement noise. The chosen signal, sign, interval and filter matter; a raw difference between two readings is not a complete derivative-controller design.
