Hot-Path Memory Update
A hot-path memory update happens within the interaction that is producing the user-facing response, rather than in a separate later job. LangMem uses this label for memory operations on the active conversational path. Waiting for a write can affect response latency; being on that path does not itself prove durable storage or a correct update.
