Integral Windup
Accumulation of an integral controller term while the actuator cannot supply the requested response, commonly because it is saturated. The stored term can keep driving an excessive command after conditions change. Anti-windup mechanisms manage that accumulation; clipping the visible output alone does not necessarily prevent the internal problem.
