Limit Cycle

An isolated periodic orbit of a dynamical system. It describes a recurring trajectory separated from nearby periodic orbits, and it may attract or repel nearby motion. Repeated agent messages or a few alternating measurements are not enough to demonstrate a limit cycle in the mathematical sense.
