Self-Consistency

Self-consistency samples multiple reasoning paths and aggregates their resulting answers, rather than relying on one greedy continuation. A common simplified form selects the most frequent normalized answer. Agreement can be useful, but repeated answers from the same model are not independent confirmation that the answer is true.
