Staging

Staging is a preproduction environment used to check a release under selected production-like conditions. Its name does not guarantee privacy, isolation or harmless integrations. For example, Azure deployment slots are live applications with their own hostnames. Databases, credentials, outbound connections and access rules must be deliberately configured for the intended testing boundary.
